Why this exists

ATHLAZ Limited is a software company registered in England and Wales, company number 16357048, registered office 63 Lymbridge Drive, Blackrod, Bolton, England, BL6 5TH. Its turnover is below the GBP 36 million threshold at which section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a slavery and human trafficking statement, so this statement is published voluntarily, in the form the Act describes, because the organisations we work with ask for it.

Our business

ATHLAZ licenses a patent-pending method for controlling how a machine draws power and writes the software that carries it. We make no hardware and we run no manufacturing, logistics or warehousing. Our people work in the United Kingdom and South Africa.

Our supply chain

It is short and it is made of services: cloud infrastructure and software tools, access to GPU hardware for measurement, and professional advisers in law, accounting and intellectual property, sourced from established providers. We hold no supply chain in goods, raw materials or labour-intensive services.

Our position

We do not use, and will not knowingly do business with any organisation that uses, forced, bonded or child labour, or that engages in human trafficking. We expect the same of our suppliers, and where a supplier publishes its own statement we read it before contracting. Any concern about modern slavery in connection with ATHLAZ or its suppliers can be raised with the directors at info@athlaz.com and will be investigated.

Review and approval
